I’m a 22-year-old self-taught soap maker and skincare enthusiast. As a child I always made face mask and body scrubs with things we had in the house for fun. I've had sensitive skin my whole life and growing up I was never allowed to use soaps with fragrance, etc.

In 2014 I became conscious of the flaky discolored spots all over my body and spent the majority of the year in and out of the dermatologist. I had a skin biopsy and was diagnosed with eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, and tinea versicolor. None of which can be healed, but only controlled. Although these skin disorders were not harmful to my health, they were harmful to my confidence.

After years of failing to keep my conditions under control with topical creams I began watching not only what I put in my body, but what I put on my body. I tried making my own soap and other products after learning how many harsh chemicals can be found in store-bought products (even the ones that say natural/organic) and that is where Muse Soap & Co. began.
